Reginald D. Hunter

Howlers At The Hall's last show of 2008 will be headlined by one of the biggest names in stand-up comedy Reginald D. Hunter.

Born in Georgia, USA, Reginald moved to the UK eight years ago, leaving behind what he felt was the repressive atmosphere of his hometown. Intending to further his acting career he studied at RADA and went on to perform in productions as varied as A Midsummer Nightís Dream and good old fashioned Pantomime.

His comedy career was launched when, having performed his first comedy set as a dare, he received the princely sum of £10 and realised that this was a far better way of earning a living than becoming a waiter or cleaning offices (the only other options open to him at the time).

Since then Reginaldís career has gone from strength to strength with his stand-up performances perfectly combining his love of acting with his great passion for seeing the funnier side of life. This potent blend of down to earth honesty and hilarious anecdotes about his life and relationships has captivated audiences everywhere and been the bedrock of his success.
