![]() THE CHELTENHAM TOWN HALL Those of you who remember seeing the likes of Simon Pegg, Mark Lamaar, Bill Bailey and Frank Skinner appear at Pillar Talk will remember what a great setting the Pillar Rooms were for comedy acts on the verge of stardom. Howlers at The Hall will be no different in that respect as we will focus on booking the best comedians on the circuit who will guarantee a great comedy event.
'THE VENUE' at The Wheatsheaf Inn
Howlers Comedy Club all started at the Venue at the Wheatsheaf in Feb 2007. The newly refurbished Venue is a self contained function room which is separate to the main pub. With a capacity of 150, the Venue offers the perfect backdrop for a great comedy experience. In the 1960's The venue played a key role in Cheltenham rock and roll folk lore. As 'Club 66' it played host to some of the best bands around and was a regular hang-out for a certain Brian Jones, founder member of the Rolling Stones until it was forced to close.
